On 22 November 2017, Kurri Kurri High School JAECG leaders, accompanied by Mrs L’Green, participated in a Leadership Networking Day with students from other local schools, organised by St Philip’s Christian College.

Uncle Warren shared his knowledge of Wonnarua sacred sites and particularly the Baiame Cave in Milbrodale and his life experiences in the area, along with his father’s stories. The day also included a barbecue and Aboriginal Traditional games run by St Phillips Junior AECG leaders.

A big Thank You to everyone who helped this day happen. It was a fantastic day where we were able to connect with our country, culture and people.
